Life
The day is coming soon where you will stand before the Almighty God and give an account of the life that you have lived. To this God you cannot lie. Your sins will be laid bare. Your eyes will be opened to the evil you have done. The deeds you thought righteous will be as filthy rags before His perfection.
If you rely on that account you give, you will fall short and be cast into that outer darkness—Eternally separated from the one true God and all that is good, which comes from Him alone.
Despite your sinfulness, The Lord of all creation sees, in you, a worth unfathomable. In an outpouring of His mercy for you, He spared you the punishment you deserve by sending His one and only Son to be crucified, so that you might live. And, in an outpouring of His love for you, Jesus Christ the Son of God willingly took this full wrath of a perfect God upon Himself. The agony He faced for you is without measure.
Jesus died for your sins. Three days later, he was resurrected. This is why it is written, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me.” It is through the sacrifice of Christ alone that He made a way for us to live.
If you choose to accept the Jesus, then on that day, God will see not your sins, but the holy and perfect sacrifice of The Son. You will be white as snow and perfect in His eyes.
God does not want you to die. He wants you with Him eternally. Jesus is preparing your place in heaven.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
Yes, you were dead indeed. But by the God’s divine providence and sovereign will He has chosen to save YOU. You were lost, and now you are found. You were blind, but now you see.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
THE LORD YOUR GOD HAS BROKEN YOUR CHAINS.
Leave your sin behind, for the work of the cross is complete.
You had a heart of stone from which evil flowed, and He cut it out. He put in you a new heart and a new spirit.
He has put in you a new heart… That is why, Jesus bowed His head and spoke, “It is finished,” before giving up His spirit on the cross.
He has put in you a new spirit… That is why these trustworthy and true words are recorded in the book or Revelation: “It is done!”
It is done. Therefore no one will snatch you out of His hand. Death has lost its hold over you, and now you live. So, live for Christ.
Deny yourself. Take up your cross. Follow Jesus. Promote His Kingdom. Bear fruits of the Holy Spirit. Obey His commandments. For everything else you do, is grasping at vapors.
“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them on the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
