Divine Delight

As a father, and now a grandfather, I have great delight in my children. But my human experience is barely a sliver compared to God’s infinite and loving delight in us. That kind of divine delight is powerful—it drove Jesus to endure tremendous agony on our behalf!

Do you know God delights in You?
But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
Psalm 16:3 

Did you know Jesus proved His delight in you?
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

Did you know that because of Jesus’ delightful work of the cross He accepts you?
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Ephesians 1:6
