LET’S GO TO BETHLEHEM!

When the angels returned to heaven, the shepherds said to each other, “Let’s go to Bethlehem! Let’s see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”  Luke 2:15 NLT

Son of God stepped down from heaven, from fame
 Peaceful and humble, as a baby, Emmanuel came
The darkness of earth, Mary’s babe dinted
 In our dearth, the light of God’s love glinted
Who was He walking among us for a time
 People begged of Him proof, wanted a sign
Doused in blood, He gave us the new covenant
 Housed three days in a grave, then the revenant
Leave behind your mayhem
 Let’s go to Bethlehem!
